2021 Edition

Held in Nice on 24–25 November 2021, the 2nd Choiseul Africa Business Forum marked a decisive step in the Forum's development, firmly establishing it as one of the leading platforms for dialogue between African and international decision-makers. Bringing together over 600 participants from 50 countries, including representatives from 47 African nations, the event reinforced Choiseul Africa's position as a catalyst for strategic partnerships, investment and high-level economic dialogue.

Through more than 20 plenary sessions and roundtables, discussions addressed the key drivers of Africa's transformation, from infrastructure and healthcare to finance, innovation and sports business. Bringing together over 100 prominent speakers from the public and private sectors, the Forum fostered concrete exchanges on investment opportunities and Africa-Europe cooperation, further consolidating its role as a platform where strategic partnerships take shape.

Mauritania, featured as the Country of Honor, took center stage throughout the Forum, presenting its economic ambitions and strategic vision to an audience of leading investors, institutions and business leaders. Showcasing the country's strategical assets, the Forum provided Mauritania with a unique platform to strengthen its international visibility and reinforce its attractiveness as an emerging investment destination.

The 2021 edition also reflected Choiseul's commitment to creating lasting impact beyond dialogue. Through the Choiseul for Good initiative, the Forum raised €45,000 to support the construction of schools in Africa, illustrating its ambition to combine strategic influence with tangible action for the continent's development.
