2019 Edition

Held in Nice on 3–4 October 2019, the inaugural Choiseul Africa Business Forum marked the beginning of a long-term ambition: to create a leading platform where African and international decision-makers could meet, exchange ideas and shape the partnerships driving the continent's future. Bringing together nearly 600 participants, 110 speakers and 20 roundtable discussions, the Forum laid the foundations for what would become one of Africa's leading business gatherings.

From investment and innovation to sustainable development, regional integration and public-private cooperation, the first edition addressed the major challenges and opportunities shaping Africa's economic transformation. More than a conference, it established a new space for strategic dialogue, connecting business leaders, policymakers and investors around a shared vision of the continent's future.

This inaugural edition also embodied the founding mission of Choiseul Africa: building lasting bridges between Africa and its international partners while fostering high-level dialogue and meaningful cooperation. By creating an ecosystem where ideas evolve into partnerships, the Choiseul Africa Business Forum set the tone for the editions that followed and established the foundations of a platform that continues to shape Africa's economic future.
